Editorial standards
How we source, label and correct what we publish, and what we will not do.
SHOWFLOOR.TV covers conventions, exhibitors and the people building experiences on the show floor. These standards explain how we keep that reporting accurate, transparent and useful.
Accuracy and sourcing
Convention dates, venues, access information and official links are checked against organizer or venue sources whenever possible. Company facts come from the company, organizer materials or established public records. Statistics and attendance figures are attributed to the organization that published them.
Previews, live coverage and recaps
A preview explains what is scheduled or expected before an event opens. Live coverage is produced from the show or from current organizer and exhibitor updates. A recap describes what happened after the event. We use language appropriate to the timing and do not present an anticipated activity as something already observed.
Editorial focus
We report on the people, products, programs and experiences that shape trade shows. Coverage is selected for relevance, timeliness, reader value and the strength of available sourcing. Accuracy, clear attribution and appropriate context guide every story.
Photography, video and credits
Original SHOWFLOOR.TV photography and video are identified where appropriate. Images supplied or published by organizers, exhibitors, venues and other sources are credited to their original publishers. If a rights holder wants a credit adjusted or an image replaced or removed, contact us with the page URL.
Sponsored and partner-supported work
Sponsored stories, advertising and organizer partnerships are labeled clearly. Commercial support can determine the topic, timing and deliverables of sponsored work, but it does not permit inaccurate claims or remove the requirement for proper sourcing and disclosure.
Free listings and factual updates
Basic event and exhibitor listings are not conditional on purchasing advertising. Organizers and companies may submit schedules, official links and factual corrections without buying a commercial package.
Corrections
When a substantive factual error is identified, we correct it promptly. Readers, organizers and exhibitors can send corrections to hello@showfloor.tv with the relevant page URL and supporting source.
Media access and hospitality
If an organizer provides credentials, travel support, access or hosting that is material to a story, SHOWFLOOR.TV will disclose it when appropriate. Access helps us report more completely but does not change our commitment to accurate information and clear labeling.
