How MAGIC is bringing fashion technology to the show floor
Retail platforms, social commerce, logistics, color intelligence and AI tools are joining the product conversation at MAGIC 2026.
Fashion trade shows have always been powered by relationships, but the systems supporting those relationships are changing quickly. At MAGIC Las Vegas 2026, technology moves closer to the center of the buyer experience through a new Fashion Tech Summit day and an expanded Business Solutions Center.
The participating companies span point of sale, social commerce, color, logistics, shipping, e-commerce, artificial intelligence and retail consulting. That breadth is useful because technology decisions rarely operate alone: inventory affects marketing, fulfillment affects customer experience and product data affects every channel where a brand sells.
Technology with a retail purpose
The strongest show-floor demonstrations will begin with a recognizable business task. Can a buyer see inventory more clearly? Can a brand prepare better product information for retailers? Can a boutique create content faster, organize fulfillment or understand performance without adding unnecessary complexity?
MAGIC’s value is the ability to place those questions next to real products and real merchant conversations. A platform is easier to evaluate when attendees can immediately connect it to the collections, orders and customers already occupying their attention.
Social commerce joins the wholesale conversation
TikTok Shop is among the program partners, reflecting how discovery, content and commerce are moving closer together. Exhibitors can use the show to learn how social selling complements wholesale relationships, while retailers can ask brands for stronger content assets and more coordinated launch support.
A practical technology checklist
- Identify the business process that consumes the most time today.
- Ask for a demonstration using a realistic retail scenario.
- Understand integrations, implementation and ongoing support.
- Include the team members who will actually use the system.
- Define a measurable result before adding another platform.
The goal is not to collect more technology. It is to create more time for product, customers and growth.
