Wellness Together Conference 2026

What School and Community Teams Can Bring Home From Wellness Together 2026

A strong conference plan turns three days of keynotes, breakouts and partner conversations into a short list of actions a team can use immediately.

The value of a professional conference is not measured only by the number of sessions attended. It is measured by what a team can explain, test and carry home. Wellness Together 2026 gives education, mental-health, policy, healthcare and community professionals three days to build that shared plan.

Arrive with one team question

Before the conference, identify a question specific enough to guide the visit. It might focus on student screen habits, student-athlete mental health, staff support, family engagement or the role of California Certified Wellness Coaches. A shared question helps colleagues divide sessions without losing a common purpose.

Choose different perspectives

The keynote and breakout program spans psychology, policy, education and community leadership. Teams attending together should avoid choosing identical schedules. One person can focus on research, another on implementation and another on systems or partnerships. Comparing those perspectives creates a more useful summary than repeating the same notes.

Use the partner floor as a working resource

Talk with exhibitors and sponsors about implementation, not only features. Ask who a resource is designed for, what training is required, how long deployment takes and what support continues after purchase. Collect only the material your team is likely to review again.

Protect time for synthesis

Set aside 20 minutes at the end of each day to compare observations. The Leadership Dinner after Day 2 offers another opportunity to connect conference learning with people working across education, mental health, policy, technology and healthcare.

Leave with three next steps

A useful conference recap should be short enough to act on. Identify one practice worth testing, one relationship worth continuing and one question that needs more research. Assign an owner and a follow-up date for each.

Wellness Together is built around connection, practical tools and renewed purpose. A team that plans for all three can turn the conference into momentum that lasts well beyond San Diego.
