The Wellness Together Conference returns to San Diego from September 9 through 11 for its 10th annual gathering, bringing leaders from education, mental health, policy, technology and healthcare into one shared conversation about hope and resilience for the next generation.

The San Diego Convention Center lists projected attendance of 2,000. That scale is large enough to bring together a wide range of perspectives while still supporting the focused workshops, networking and practical exchange that make a professional conference useful after attendees return home.

A program built around immediate application

Wellness Together describes its value in three parts: helping teams get connected, equipped and inspired. The conference is designed to strengthen relationships, introduce skills that can be applied immediately and help people who serve young people return to their communities with renewed purpose.

Featured program themes include managing student screen habits, becoming a California Certified Wellness Coach and supporting student-athlete mental health. Each topic connects research and policy with the daily decisions made by educators, counselors, administrators, coaches and community partners.

Keynotes bring different systems into the same room

The 2026 keynote roster includes clinical psychologist and bestselling author Dr. Lisa Damour; California Secretary of State Dr. Shirley N. Weber; psychologist and author Dr. Jean Twenge; California State Senator Dr. Akilah Weber Pierson; sociologist and author Dr. Anna Malaika Tubbs; and author and public-policy leader Michael Tubbs.

Together, those speakers represent psychology, education, government, research, family history and community leadership. Their presence reinforces the conference’s cross-sector approach. Youth wellness is not a challenge owned by one profession, and progress depends on people understanding how their work intersects.

The partner and exhibitor opportunity

The conference floor gives service providers, nonprofits, education organizations, technology companies and healthcare partners a chance to make their work understandable to people looking for practical tools. The most useful exhibits will avoid abstract promises and show visitors exactly how a resource fits into a school, district, clinic or community program.

  • Lead with the user: Make clear whether a resource is designed for students, families, educators, clinicians or administrators.
  • Show implementation: Visitors need to understand training, timelines, support and the first step after the conference.
  • Provide take-home value: Checklists, frameworks, research summaries and referral tools can extend the conversation.
  • Invite collaboration: The audience spans multiple systems, so the best booth conversation may connect more than one kind of partner.

How attendees can plan

WTC10 will take place on the south side of the convention center’s third floor in Ballroom 20 and surrounding rooms. Attendees should review the breakout schedule in advance and choose a mix of strategic, clinical and practical sessions.

The Leadership Dinner follows the second day of sessions and is designed as an additional networking opportunity for leaders across education, mental health, policy, technology and healthcare. Conference teams attending together can use the evening to compare what they learned and identify ideas worth carrying home.

Why the 10th year matters

An anniversary gives Wellness Together a chance to demonstrate continuity as well as urgency. The conference has built a decade-long platform around connection and practical action. In 2026, the opportunity is to show how the knowledge in the rooms can move into classrooms, athletic programs, family support and community systems.

For organizers and partners, the strongest measure of success will be what attendees can use after the final session: a clearer framework, a stronger relationship, a useful resource or renewed confidence in the work ahead.
