How to Evaluate Wellness Products at TheFitExpo Anaheim
TheFitExpo Anaheim will put recovery devices, supplements and wellness services in front of thousands of active consumers. Here is a practical way to separate a useful demo from an unsupported promise.
TheFitExpo Anaheim gives attendees direct access to wellness brands, product specialists, demonstrations and interactive programming on August 29-30, 2026.
That access is valuable. Instead of relying only on packaging or a website, visitors can see how a product works, ask detailed questions and compare several approaches in one place. A simple evaluation plan helps attendees get more from those conversations and helps well-prepared exhibitors explain what makes their products useful.
Begin with the intended use
Ask the representative to describe who the product is designed for, how it is used and what a typical customer should expect from the experience. Clear answers create a strong foundation for every other question.
For equipment or devices, ask for a demonstration of setup, cleaning, storage and adjustment. For supplements or topical products, review the label, serving information, ingredients, allergens and directions. For services, ask what is included, how follow-up works and what kind of professional training supports the experience.
Connect evidence to the exact product
Terms such as “clinically tested” are most useful when the exhibitor can explain what was studied and how the result relates to the exact product being shown. Ask whether research involved the finished product or one of its ingredients, who conducted the work and where a visitor can read more.
This does not need to become an interrogation. A thoughtful exhibitor will often welcome the opportunity to explain the product in greater depth. The goal is to understand the difference between a broad category benefit and evidence connected to a specific formula, device or service.
Understand regulatory language
Different wellness products follow different regulatory paths. “FDA registered,” “FDA listed,” “FDA cleared” and “FDA approved” do not mean the same thing, and the correct term depends on the product category and intended use.
Ask the company which description applies and where the information can be verified. Precise language benefits everyone: attendees receive clearer information, while exhibitors can demonstrate the work behind responsible product development and labeling.
Use the demonstration well
- Ask what the demonstration can and cannot show in a few minutes.
- Request written setup, safety and care instructions.
- Confirm whether the show sample matches the version currently available.
- Ask about warranty, returns, replacement parts or ongoing support.
- Save the product name and company contact so questions can continue after the event.
For heat, cold, compression, electrical stimulation, light-based products or other specialized equipment, review the manufacturer’s guidance before participating. Attendees with personal health questions can discuss them with an appropriate qualified professional.
Compare total value
A show-floor offer may include more than a price. Training, accessories, delivery, warranty support, subscription terms and future service can all affect the value of a purchase. Write down the complete package so it can be compared fairly with other options.
For business buyers, additional questions may include wholesale minimums, margins, fulfillment, staff education, marketing assets and the process for opening an account.
A better conversation for attendees and exhibitors
Wellness is a broad and fast-moving category. TheFitExpo creates a useful setting for brands to demonstrate products and for attendees to learn directly from the people behind them. Specific questions make those exchanges more productive without taking away from the energy of discovery.
The best outcome is not simply collecting information. It is leaving with a clear understanding of which products deserve a closer look, which questions have been answered and who can help with the next step.
