OLIVE YOUNG FESTA turns KCON LA into a hands-on K-beauty city

KCON LA has always treated beauty as culture, not a side category. In 2026, that idea expands dramatically as OLIVE YOUNG brings the first U.S. edition of its signature FESTA to the Los Angeles Convention Center. The announced three-day experience is designed as a major destination for hands-on discovery within KCON’s FESTIVAL GROUNDS.

According to OLIVE YOUNG, the festival will gather 55 Korean beauty and lifestyle brands with interactive experiences and personalized beauty services. That makes it one of the clearest places at KCON to understand why K-beauty has become a global retail language: visitors can move from skincare and makeup to wellness and lifestyle while seeing how products fit into complete routines.

Discovery designed for participation

The strongest beauty activations let visitors do more than look at a shelf. They invite testing, consultation, comparison and conversation. OLIVE YOUNG FESTA is positioned as a playground where product education can feel lively and social—exactly the kind of format that works for KCON’s audience.

Fans can arrive with a favorite category in mind, then leave room for unfamiliar textures, ingredients and brands. Personalized services can help turn a very large assortment into a manageable route, while the festival setting gives participating labels a shared stage without flattening their individual identities.

A milestone for K-beauty in Los Angeles

The timing adds significance. OLIVE YOUNG has opened its first U.S. stores in Pasadena and Los Angeles, so the KCON experience connects a major cultural weekend with the retailer’s growing local presence. It is both an introduction and a bridge: attendees can discover products at the convention and continue exploring after the show.

Plan your visit

Use KCON’s live map to locate OLIVE YOUNG FESTA and consider starting early, especially if personalized services are a priority. Photograph product names and routine steps rather than relying on packaging alone, and ask brand teams how to use unfamiliar formats. Most of all, give the area time. With 55 brands represented, this is a neighborhood to explore, not a single stop to check off.
