Sipping Streams brings an Alaska-made tea experience to KCON
The award-winning Alaska tea company brings its educational, founder-led perspective to KCON’s marketplace.
KCON’s marketplace is strongest when Korean culture meets local creativity from many directions. KCON currently lists Sipping Streams Tea Company among its KCON LA 2026 participants. The Alaska-based business was founded by educator, importer and master blender Jenny Tse.
The company’s broader business spans loose-leaf teas, custom blends, matcha, fireweed honey, bubble-tea kits and education. That mix explains why its KCON participation is interesting, although the exact products and activities planned for Los Angeles have not been announced.
Tea discovery becomes practical
Tea can be intimidating when labels emphasize origin, grade or preparation without context. Sipping Streams’ educational approach offers a useful framework: water temperature, steeping time, sweetness and texture can all change how a tea is understood and prepared.
Sipping Streams’ educational identity is a strong fit for that conversation. The goal is not only to present a product, but to help someone leave with enough confidence to use it well.
An Alaska story on the KCON floor
The company’s location adds another layer. Alaska ingredients and community shape parts of the assortment, while global tea traditions inform the broader business. At KCON, that combination illustrates how cultural enthusiasm can inspire small companies far beyond a traditional center of production.
It also gives attendees a founder-driven stop among much larger activations. Learning who built a product, where it is blended and why a particular flavor exists can be one of the most rewarding parts of a marketplace hall.
Plan your visit
Look for Sipping Streams in KCON’s current participant information and follow the live event map on the day of your visit. If the activation includes product education or tasting, ask for a simple comparison between two tea styles and note any preparation guidance the team provides.
