Commercial UAV Expo 2026 Opens September With a Floor Built for Working Technology

More than 225 exhibitors, indoor flight demonstrations and operator-focused programming make Las Vegas the first major show-floor story of September.

September begins with one of the clearest examples of what a professional technology show can do well. Commercial UAV Expo returns to Caesars Forum in Las Vegas from September 1 through 3 with more than 225 exhibitors and a program built around technology that visitors can see, question and evaluate in person.

The event serves professionals who integrate or operate commercial uncrewed aircraft systems across construction, delivery, energy, utilities, agriculture, infrastructure, mining, public safety, security, surveying and mapping. That mix gives the exhibit hall a practical center of gravity. Buyers are not only looking for a compelling aircraft. They are evaluating sensors, software, services, training, batteries, data workflows and the partnerships required to make an operation dependable.

A show floor designed for proof

Commercial UAV Expo is especially useful because its programming brings technical claims into the open. Indoor airspace demonstrations let attendees watch systems fly under controlled conditions. Exhibitor showcase presentations give product teams room to explain new capabilities. The Forum Theater, roundtables and keynote program connect what is visible in a booth with the operational questions facing end users.

The new Pilot Hub gives current and aspiring professional drone pilots a dedicated place for practical content and peer connection. The DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit brings another important audience into the building: agencies and public-safety teams using UAS for emergency response, situational awareness and community protection.

What buyers should watch

The most productive conversations will connect a visible demonstration to a clearly defined field problem. A buyer should be able to understand who the system is for, what it replaces, how it fits into an existing workflow and what support is available after the purchase.

  • Airframes and payloads: Look for systems designed around a specific mission rather than a generic list of specifications.
  • Software and data: Ask how information moves from collection to analysis, reporting and existing enterprise systems.
  • Safety and compliance: Find the teams that can explain training, operating procedures and implementation with the same clarity as the product itself.
  • Demonstrations: Use the indoor airspace schedule to compare what different platforms can do when they are actually in motion.
  • Partnerships: The Networking Lounge and receptions are designed to turn an initial booth conversation into a useful professional relationship.

A practical three-day plan

Registration opens Monday, August 31 from 2 to 5 p.m. The exhibit hall opens Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., giving attendees an early opportunity to scan the floor and identify priority companies. Wednesday provides the longest floor window, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A strong plan is to use Tuesday evening for discovery, Wednesday for scheduled demonstrations and detailed meetings, and Thursday for follow-up conversations. Conference sessions will compete with exhibit-hall time, so attendees should review the official schedule before arriving and protect time for the booths that require a specialist.

Why this show matters for exhibitors

Commercial UAV Expo concentrates operators, decision-makers, developers and technical partners in a setting where a working product can speak for itself. The strongest booths will make complex systems understandable without oversimplifying them. Clear signage, scheduled demonstrations, informed staff and follow-up material can help visitors carry the story back to their organizations.

For emerging companies, Pitch the Press and the show-floor presentation opportunities offer ways to introduce a product beyond a standard booth conversation. For established companies, the event is a chance to show how a mature system performs inside a real operational ecosystem.
