Got Sole Los Angeles

Got Sole is a marketplace show. There is no keynote and no programme to speak of — the exhibitors are the sellers, and the entire event is a trading floor with a door charge.

What the floor is like

Fast and openly transactional. Pricing is public and posted, inventory turns over through the day, and the same pair can sit at three different prices twenty feet apart. It is one of the most transparent floors you will ever walk, and one of the few where haggling is expected rather than tolerated.

If you are selling

Price visibly. Buyers walk the whole hall before committing, and a table without prices gets skipped rather than asked. Bring change and a card reader, and expect the last two hours to be where the margin goes as sellers clear stock rather than freight it home.

If you are buying

Walk the full floor once before spending anything. Authentication desks are worth the wait on anything above a few hundred dollars.

Getting there

The Los Angeles Convention Center sits at 1201 South Figueroa Street, next to L.A. Live and Crypto.com Arena in South Park. The closest rail is Pico station on Metro’s A and E lines, a short walk from the West Hall entrance. Onsite parking is paid and fills early on consumer-show days; the surrounding L.A. Live structures absorb the overflow.

The venue is midway through a major expansion, so hall assignments and entrances move more than usual. Check the organiser’s floor plan the week of the show rather than relying on last year’s.
