Bibigo’s K-Flavor Arcade turned K-food into a game at KCON LA 2026

More than 10,000 visitors entered a playful activation that connected Korean flavor profiles, K-pop fandom, motion and tasting.

Bibigo’s K-Flavor Arcade looked like a game before it looked like a sampling station.

Its bright green walls, block graphics, oversized flavor cues and digital screens gave the booth an immediate identity on the KCON LA 2026 Festival Grounds. Guests could understand the invitation from the aisle: enter, play and discover Korean food through movement and taste.

CJ CheilJedang reported that more than 10,000 visitors came through the Bibigo activation during the three-day event. The company organized the experience around four flavor ideas: kimchi, sweet and savory, spicy-sweet, and hot.

That decision gave the booth an educational structure without making it feel like a lesson.

Flavor became movement

The motion challenge asked visitors to follow actions inspired by the four flavor concepts. Instead of describing taste only through words, the game made guests perform it.

That physicality fit the atmosphere of KCON. Fans were already moving between stages, photo moments and brand activities. Bibigo gave them another chance to participate and record the result.

The game also made the booth visible to people waiting nearby. A physical challenge naturally creates spectators, reactions and short videos. One participant’s experience becomes an invitation to the next.

Tasting completed the idea

After the activity, guests could try products already gaining traction in the U.S. market: Bibigo mini wontons, spicy kimchi ramen and three K-sauces.

The tasting gave each flavor concept a real reference point. Guests did not have to imagine what the booth meant by spicy-sweet or hot. They could connect the language, the game and the food.

Bibigo said the prepared tasting menu was quickly distributed, a strong sign of interest in both the activation and the category.

K-pop created a bridge to K-food

The booth also incorporated Alpha Drive One, Bibigo’s global brand ambassador, through digital content and an artist-themed zone. The collaboration gave K-pop fans a familiar entry point while directing attention toward the food experience.

This was one of KCON’s broader strengths in 2026. Fans could arrive for music and move naturally into beauty, food, wellness and retail. The categories did not sit in separate worlds. They reinforced a larger K-lifestyle experience.

Bibigo’s booth made that crossover especially clear. The artist connection attracted attention, the game invited participation and the tasting gave the brand the final word.

Designed to travel beyond the hall

CJ CheilJedang also worked with U.S. influencers so audiences outside the convention center could encounter the activation through digital content. The arcade design was well suited to that goal. Its strong colors, simple actions and readable flavor theme could be understood quickly on a phone screen.

That combination of physical and digital reach is increasingly important for major show-floor activations. The on-site guest receives a complete experience, while the booth produces enough visual clarity to travel through short-form video and social posts.

At KCON LA 2026, Bibigo did not simply serve food. It built a compact world where K-food could be played, tasted, filmed and remembered.
